make -a -bag sew-along

I found this on Kerstin’s blog this morning and just had to share it – no idea how to put a button the side though so you’ll need to make do with this. Isn’t it gorgeous and I have just the charm pack for it as DD3 gave me one for my birthday in April!

Kerstin’s blog :

I need to figure out how to put links to my favourite blogs on the side – there are so many I love! Blogland has made a huge difference to the way I sew and create. Thanks to you all!

This is the yummy fabric I’m going to use for this set! πŸ™‚

About sheppeylass

Mum of 4, I live on the Isle of Sheppey in Kent. I've always sewn but the quilting bug snagged me a couple of years ago and now, with the encouragement of my artist husband, I'm spreading my wings into textile art.

DD3 “gave ” me these for my birthday in April – I just knew something would come along to give me an excuse to use them! πŸ™‚

nice fabric Fiona. I got my charm pack today. I don’t know if Im going to use it. Its so pretty and I never had a charm pack before. Great that you sew along with me and all the others. It looks like a fun project. Looking forward to see pictures.

about adding the links. I have no idea how it works with wordpress. May be Maggi can help you out there.

Maggi has already given me some advice – just need some time to figure out where I’m going wrong now! Have begun putting my squares together tonight but don’t have a co-ordinating fabric yet so will have to wait until I can go shopping! πŸ™‚
